Insight Property Group, the brainchild of Fraser Forbes CEO Rich Samit and former Kettler execs Rick Hausler and Mike Blum, announced this week it has purchased the Windover Villas community of 90 single family homes in Fredericksburg. The acquisition follows last week’s announcement that the new company picked up 1200 Rolfe Street North (rendering above) — 42-units near the Courthouse Metro that will be improved with a $24 million, 72-unit Class A multifamily building over a parking garage. Construction on Rolfe Street is set to begin early next year. Insight focuses on multifamily acquisitions and developments, and has closed on three properties (with another two forthcoming) since forming in the fall after deciding there was ripe MF opportunity in metro DC (if you know where to look).
