Jake Hamel

Jake Hamel is an Associate at Insight Property Group, responsible for identifying, underwriting and conducting due diligence for the acquisition of development sites and stabilized properties.
Prior to joining Insight, Jake worked as an Asset Management Analyst at CW Capital where he helped execute workout strategies for $2.2 billion worth of distressed CMBS debt, with a focus on stabilizing and repositioning large retail centers. He also supported the credit team by underwriting $1.1 billion worth of newly securitized debt, with a focus on agency debt for multifamily acquisitions and refinances.
Jake majored in Public Policy at Princeton University and pursed a master’s degree in Economics at Peking University as a Yenching Scholar.
